The Dogwood Golf Course
The Clubhouse
Designed by John Sanford, the Dogwood course at Garden Valley opened in 1992 and has been consistently rated as one of the top courses in East Texas. The course features Champion Bermuda greens, beautiful lakes, and tall pine trees and will allow you the opportunity to test every aspect of your game.
Back Tees: 6,840 yards, 72.4/132
Middle Tees: 6,269 yards, 70.1/126
Front Tees: 5,532 yards, 72.5/130
The front nine of the Par 72 course is an excellent test of golf across a more open area of the property. Water comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes, with two par 3s and two par 5s. The back nine winds through the pine trees and around picturesque Lake Butler. Water comes into play on 7 of the 9 holes, with two par 3s and two par 5s, including the dramatic finishing hole with its green cradled by the lake on the right side. Ultimately, the entire course layout will have you focusing on the scenery as much as your next shot.

The Garden Valley clubhouse is the centerpiece of one of the best amenity packages in the area. The clubhouse features great dining, a fully equipped and staffed Pro Shop, men's and women's locker rooms and several private event meeting rooms. A large outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to take in the views of Jackson Lake and the 18th green.

The Clubhouse serves delicious breakfast and lunch entrees daily. We have a variety of venues, from our main dining room to our 19th hole lounge to our scenic outdoor terrace overlooking Jackson Lake and the 18th green.

Garden Valley is also the perfect place for your wedding, business meeting or company golf outing. Our clubhouse, huge outdoor patio, banquet room and panoramic landscape make it a truly unique and exceptional venue at which to hold your next event. We can accommodate up to 200 guests and provide all you need (including in-house catering) to make your big day or night a Texas-sized success!

Garden Valley offers its members a refreshing pool to cool off during those hot East Texas summer days. The pool is located on the Clubhouse rear patio and offers beautiful views of golf and Jackson Lake. In the gated enclave just down the street, tennis enthusiasts will enjoy the private courts at the front of the neighborhood.
